If you read through all his discards he seems angry.
I do hope you're not pulling a karaidl and discarding the entire library, because then I think we better begin talking "no more discards" like no comment edits.
If you're in the beginning phase of a karaidl-esque discard spree, please stop. I'm not denying your right to do it, but just don't, please. I value your presence here, even if I disagree with you sometimes. Stick around, and continue to contribute.
And if you're not going on a discard spree, then stop making me worry. I ain't getting any younger.

The problem is convoluted and difficult to explain but basically I see this site as a place to find funny and cute vids with the occasional nice music vid. When I post videos on some extremely important issues that contain investigations by credible news organizations into henous acts by the govt./military complex and it gets one vote, while at the same time I'm ridiculed and taunted, it makes me think: "Why the fuck do I even bother with these assholes?"
I am removing myself from this frustrating and silly envoronment. If you like any posts I have then feel free to repost them yourself. I don't have time for this anymore. 2009 and forward are going to be some extremely difficult times for me and the rest of the world and I am on the verge of being homeless because I'm unemployed and broke. I haven't felt very welcome here and I'm sick of the stereotypes and bullshit.
I would have just deleted the account but that's apparently not an option. Look... I'm not getting paid for this. I have a difficult time dealing with some of the issues that I've brung forth to you all. The straw that broke the camel's back here has nothing to do with Netrunner. He's a good guy but I think he's politically misaligned. I don't blame him though.. I've been a Dem, a Republican, a Green party, Constitutional party, and a Libertarian. Why have I jumped all over the spectrum? Because you can't get a full perspective unless you've experienced them all. I suppose that this is why I consider myself a Centrist now. There's lots of good and bad from all parties. Also I've noticed there is corruption in all of them as well. Most notably in the Dems and Repub sides. Corruption, Infiltration, Greed, Hypocrisy, Deception.. the list goes on. I'm pretty fed up with all of it really.
If you all really want me to not delete my current vids then fine, I'll leave them be but I won't be posting anymore vids, I won't be maintaining any playlists anymore and I won't be writing anymore blogs. This isn't about who wins or who loses. This isn't about who did what or anything like that. I'm just some average guy that can't afford to do this anymore - physically and mentally.

Even though some of your videos that you feel strongly about have only had a vote or two, a lot of them have come through. So they get attention and discussion and of course not everyone is going to agree with them, and some might have strong view opposed to them, but that's what the discussion is for. I think you shouldn't take the comments of people too seriously, if you believe in conspiracy theories you better have a though skin.
People who act this way, show me that they don't a have basic grasp of what a community is. It's not all about you.
The bits of yourself that you give are swirled around in the pot and irretrievably mixed with the thoughts of others in the community. To rip your contributions out from spite hurts the community and hurts us all a little.
So long and thanks for not breaking any more chairs and ripping down the drapes on your way out by discarding more posts.
And ok to remove comments, but dont please remove the videos...I know you posted them, but I and many many others still enjoy them
I can't help but feel that if you can't handle this environment, you're not going to like the real Internet. So when you've dipped your toes in the bubbling muck around us, you're welcome to come back.

I dare say you and I have similar motivations behind sifting. For me, the joy of this place is being able to show people things they may not have otherwise been aware of, and in particular, hoping to illuminate a truth for others that they may have not otherwise seen.
Even better are the people who can return the favor, such as yourself.
I don't have any trouble imagining someone becoming familiar with the views and platforms of all of the American political parties -- I've done so myself -- but it's another thing entirely to say you've been able to truly identify with all of them at one time or another during your life, and that does seem to provide a unique perspective.
Don't sweat the assholes (like me), just keep bringing the asses to water, and hope eventually they decide to drink.
Anyway, you've gotta do what you've gotta do. I enjoyed reading your stuff, and you've helped me to better understand what libertarianism is.

CP was being very sincere in his post, and is obviously having a very hard time with many things in his life right now, so to pile onto the hurt seems pretty mean spirited.
But doing mass discards because you've had a bad day or someone pissed you off or you are parting with the community is inconsiderate to the rest of the people here it effects.
