Hi There,
I recently created a playlist with the same name as an existing playlist and a bizzare thing happened: the sift let me do it. Beyond the fact that this was a stupid thing to do, is this a bug or a feature?
The problem that arises is that even though you can add videos to both play lists separately, you can only access one of them (the first created). The only way to remove the videos from the playlist dupe is to delete all the videos from the original list, delete the original list, and then you can access the duped list.
Am I making any sense here? Am I missing some voodoo-siftery?

Shouldn't be any bugs wrt duplicate playlist titles. Just like videos with the same title, each playlist will have a unique URL. If one wishes to confuse himself, by all means, who is SiftBot to stop her but an all-powerful sentient consciousness?

I double checked just to make sure I wasn't crazy last night (or any more so than usual), and I'm definitely encountering a problem here. The problem may lie in something you mentioned in your reply, namely that even if a playlist has an identical title, it should get it's own URL. That is not happening for me at least.
Try this and see what happens for you:
1) Create a new playlist called "AAA" (no quotes)
2) Add a video to AAA (we'll call it Video 1)
3) Create a 2nd new playlist, also called "AAA" (no quotes)
4) Add a different video to the 2nd AAA (we'll call this video 2)
5) From your profile page, select Playlists
6) Select the 1st AAA playlist (Video 1 should display)
7) Select the 2nd AAA playlist *BOOM* *BANG* *SWARP!*
--> The first AAA playlist is shown with Video 1 when Video 2 should have appeared
Like you said, a different URL SHOULD be given to the 2nd AAA playlist, but the link from the playlist page is identical to the 1st AAA playlist. As it stands, I see no (clear) way to access the 2nd AAA playlist.
Hopefully I'm making sense here... What result do you get if you follow those steps?
Thanks for reporting!
